Build New Experiences In Ubud

Ubud is the heart of Bali and is famous for its culture. It is situated in the heart of the mountains and they are just an hour’s drive from the airport in Bali. This traditional country town also houses the royal families of Bali. We were even able to visit the magnificent palace in the center of the town too. It’s also a well, flourishing art and crafts center, which had developed a large tourism industry. It has a population of about 30,000 people. The area surrounding the town is made up of small farms, rice paddies and dense forest.

Around Ubud, Peliatan, Penestanan, Campuhan and Batuan are the villages that are most commonly found. The communities specialize in wood carvings and handicrafts, crafts, textiles, paintings and jewelry in Ubud. We also found the most amazing art museums around the country here. Along the main street of Ubud, there are more than hundreds of art studios, an excellent craft market and galleries.

Ubud is a haven for both, the arts and the crafts, and we struck some great bargains here. There are some of the islands major art markets in this region, with the most famous being the landmark art market next to the royal palace.
