Cave Run Cabins and Brownwood B&B at Cave Run Lake

Many miles of hiking trails are found throughout the Daniel Boone National Forest. From the Brownwood, your closest trail access is a half-mile away at Cave Run Lake where you can hike on the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail.

Sheltowee Trace is a 282-mile back country trail through Daniel Boone National Forest, Big South Fork NRRA, and Natural Bridge, Cumberland Falls, & Pickett State Parks in Kentucky and Tennessee.

More trails and scenic areas are within an hour's drive from Cave Run Cabins and Brownwood B&B including Natural Bridge State Resort Park and Red River Gorge National Geological Area.
